We are really pleased that in partnership with Matt King we have been awarded £10k from the National Lottery Community Fund as part of their 'Together for Our Planet' programme. The UK Government’s Together for Our Planet initiative has been created to engage people with COP26 and inspire positive climate action. Matt is the CEO of Trustlinks, which is an independent charity supporting those experiencing mental health difficulties in South East Essex and a member of Othona. As many of you know, John died on 11th April 21 aged 86, having been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour in January. He died peacefully in his sleep in our Spanish home as he wished, and he now lies at peace in the village cemetery in Sedella.

The Othona Community is looking for Trustees/Directors linked to the Centre in Essex, to act as both Trustees to the Othona Trust and the Directors of the Othona Community Company.
Time commitment: 2 trustee weekends / year. Zoom: AGM + 4 evening meetings. One Committee day at Bradwell, plus 3 Zoom or onsite. Line Manager: monthly + guidance
