Pricing Policy

The fee charges for our own Community events detailed in our programme are shown below, if you wish to book the Centre for a group then please see our Group rates- Group Rates 2026

Fees

Each event in our programme does have the basic costs, but the complete set of rates for 24 hours stay are:

  • Adults (Standard) - £58
  • Adult Camping (Standard) - £44
  • Adults (Benefactor) - £72
  • Adult Camping (Benefactor) - £58
  • Students - £44*
  • Children 0 - 2 years old - free
  • Children 3 - 10 years old - £10
  • Children 11 - 18 years old - £25
  • On some events the youngest child comes free if you bring two or more children (Please see the event details)

Camping rates include use of all facilities and all food and refreshments.

* New Student rate will require proof either by showing a valid Student Card or letter from your place of Education.

If you can please bring your own towel, bed sheet, duvet cover and pillow cases as this saves on washing our own linen which saves on our limited energy. If you are unable do this then you can hire these from us for £10 per set per stay.

Othona is a charity and our standard adult rate reflects the real cost of your stay.  We try to ensure that people are not excluded due to the cost of events, so bursaries may be available if required. Applications for bursaries and/or “concession rates”, can be made to the centre manager on an event by event basis.  These will be treated with confidence and consideration..

If you are able to afford the Benefactor rate please consider paying as it  helps to support the work of Othona and enables us to provide bursaries to those who otherwise struggle to afford to come.  If you are a UK Tax Payer, please advise on the form if you are happy for us to claim Gift Aid.  If you say yes, we then get a further 25% aid from the Government.

If you have to cancel we will refund a varying proportion of your payment.

  • More than 4 weeks ahead of the event start date: all but the deposit
  • Less than 4 weeks, more than 1 week ahead: 50%
  • Less than 1 week ahead: 10%
  • On or after the start date: nil

N.B. the cancellation date is not when you decide, but the day when we hear about it!

If you have agreed to split a booking with another party for one of our events and either party cancel, please be aware that the terms of our cancellation policy will apply to the party cancelling.

Nobody wants cancellations, but they do happen. We don't like to see you heavily out of pocket either. So we suggest you consider taking out insurance (unless you already have cover, e.g. an annual holiday package). This could guard against you losing money if you have to cancel.
