We are really pleased that in partnership with Matt King we have been awarded £10k from the National Lottery Community Fund as part of their 'Together for Our Planet' programme. The UK Government’s Together for Our Planet initiative has been created to engage people with COP26 and inspire positive climate action. Matt is the CEO of Trustlinks, which is an independent charity supporting those experiencing mental health difficulties in South East Essex and a member of Othona. Matt ran our very popular summer event this year- Permaculture, Wellbeing and Community Change Week. Following the award of this funding we are planning to run the 'Essex Green Weekend' here at Othona over the first May Bank Holiday 30 April - 2 May 2022. We will be planning the programme for the weekend over the next couple of months and will publish the details as soon as possible. This should be a really great event so please watch this space for more details.
