We were privileged to be visited on January 30th 2019 by the Chairman of Maldon District Council (MDC), Cllr Henry Bass and Communications Officer, Chris Voisey. Cllr Bass came to Othona to find out more about the Community and what happens here as part of a wider plan to visit various businesses, organisations and local community groups in the Maldon district to show support and promote the district as a great place to live, work and enjoy. They were able to hear from our Warden, Tim about the history of the Community and had a tour of the site. Cllr Bass was very impressed by the work going on here and our varied programme and we are hoping to work more closely with MDC in future to promote Othona to the wider community. Please read the report from Chris which will shortly be... Read More
