We held the first Community Open Meeting since 2019 last Thursday afternoon, giving those staying here for Wellbeing Week a chance to give feedback on how the week had been, thoughts on the running of the Centre and ideas for future events. It was really well attended so thank you to all those who came and contributed. We plan to hold one every week for those here for the next three weeks plus we have the BCC Open Meeting on Saturday 20th August at 11.30am. Our Green festival is coming up at the end of this month (29th April - 2nd May) and we want as many people as possible to engage with this fantastic event. The weekend focusses on taking action to prevent Climate Change both at the local level and globally. There will be speakers, stalls, workshops, live music and much more. Please advertise this event as widely as possible. There is camping available at a discounted cost for the whole weekend of £40 per adult including food and day visitors are welcome on Saturday/Sunday at £15/adult and £5/children over 7 per day including meals. The full programme will be out very soon.
