Bradwell reopening and covid-19 update

Update on Bradwell Othona

We are reopening for limited pre-booked day visitors after the 12th April following the government 'rule of six' and restricted to outdoor seating. There will be a small charge for day visitors which will include a picnic lunch and refreshments. We are planning to reopen for residential stays from the 17th May adhering to government guidelines for social distancing with reduced occupancy. This will be a time to come for a relaxed stay with no set programme and we will operate as a covid-secure venue similar to a hotel or hostel prior to the anticipated relaxation of the social distancing rules on June 21st. After this date, if the government guidelines allow, we will be able to relax the social distancing regulations and have a ' nearly' normal Community summer. We are in the process of planning our summer programme and will update you as soon as this is ready. We plan to have events running from Monday to Friday with the weekends free of a set programme. You are very welcome to book for a week or longer, to do that you can either book for a weekend and also the event weeks or simply contact us in the office (bradwell@othona.org). In the meantime we are ready to respond with whatever the latest guidelines for the hospitality sector are to enable safe opening. Currently all of the staff here are on furlough to minimise our outgoings during these difficult financial times, please be patient if you have a query.

We will be updating our programme soon so please do take a look  (https://www.othonaessex.org.uk/events-listing) and come along for your own "Othona" experience.

We will update our policies as required prior to opening but for your information the most recent version is availalble in the link below:
