We have a number of beautiful limited edition prints for sale. The prints are of a watercolour of the Chapel entitled 'Evening Chapel' painted by Community members Nick and Ollie Partridge. They would make a wonderful gift for Christmas or a lovely piece of art to have in your own home. Each print is A3 size (approx 11.7 inches high x 16.5 inches wide). Nick has kindly donated the prints (plus the associated costs) to help the fundraising campaign for Othona Bradwell. Each print will come with a signed numbered limited edition label on the back. Please see the attached image to show what the prints look like. We are charging £20 per print plus P&P (£3.10) and you can order one by emailing us in the office (bradwell@othona.org). Sunday 1st November 2020

We are sad to inform you that we are cancelling all our events during November (Film Week, Guy Fawkes, Winter Watch and Open Space) following the announcement yesterday of a second national lockdown. We will contact all those booked to come on each event individually but please be patient as this will take a little time. The Advent Weekend that was due to run for the last weekend of November (27-29th) has been moved to the first weekend of December (4-6th), we will have to keep this under review in case the lockdown period is extended. The Youth Weekend has also moved to the 11-13th December. During the lockdown period we will not be open for visitors unfortunately but hope you will return to Othona as soon as it is possible. We will keep you updated and aim to put up Chapel services... Read More

Sunday 18th October 2020, 3:00pm to 4:30pm

Autumn has arrived and the nights are drawing in.  It’s time to take stock of the summer bounty and harvest the hedgerows. We would like to invite you to take part in a convivial Virtual event where we can meet to share ideas and experiences on the theme of “Harvest”.  As with the Flower show and Art week it will be very informal, and participation is very much encouraged.   ... Please find attached in the link below an interesting article from Dave and Margaret Hart. It's about an ex-Lifeboat called St Cedd that acted as an escort boat whilst Dave was a volunteer at the Essex Youth Sailing Centre at Bradwell Waterside. Dave was involved with the Community here through his work with boats and helped repair a boat belonging to the warden here at that time. Hopefully some of you may remember him from then.
