Our Autumn Retreat this year is from the 18-20th October and is being led by Phil Martin on the theme of Pilgrimage. Here is a summary from Phil of the plan for the weekend:

Our time together will include four sessions of input, presentation, discussions and reflections.
The themes and plans for each session are generally as follows:
Friday evening – Welcome and Introductions – What is pilgrimage and what does it mean in today’s World?
Saturday AM – Focus on two Artists and Pilgrimage – Sieger Koder & Stanley Spencer
Saturday PM – Following free time in the afternoon – Labyrinths as Art and Pilgrimages
Sunday AM – Review of the Weekend, Planning our own ongoing Pilgrimage and Applying our experience of community.
Each session will last no longer than an hour.
The whole weekend will follow the theme of pilgrimage of life, including being community together, free time, using art materials, eating together, chapel services.
