Survival Week

Have fun learning bush craft skills in the beautiful grounds of Othona

Saturday 19th August - Thursday 24th August 2023

Can you survive a week at Othona? Would you like to learn about survival skills, shelter making, foraging and campfire cooking? Then this is the week for you! There will be games, orienteering and forest school activities for all the family.

We have Barry Howard here to lead some of the sessions. Barry has been instructing survival for 50 years as an expedition leader, and qualified teacher.

Arrivals: from 3pm Saturday - first meal is dinner at 7pm

Departures: Thursday morning 11am

Cost: We have two rates for adults £240 (Basic Rate) or £300 (*Benefactor Rate), if you would like to camp then the rate for adults is £180 (Basic Rate) or £240 (Benefactor Rate). If you are able to afford the Benefactor rate this helps to support the work of Othona and enables us to provide bursaries to support those who cannot afford to come. Normal child rates apply, if you are bringing two or more children with you, then the eldest goes free. 

We may be able to offer concessionary rates (25% reduction) at the Manager's discretion. Please contact us to find out more.
