Our Autumn Retreat this year is being led by the current Bishop of Bradwell, John Perumbalath.

The theme for this retreat is Wondrous Depth: Spirituality of the Old Testament for Christians today. We will look at the story, texts and themes in the Old Testament and explore how they invite us to a much needed deeper spirituality that engages with our contemporary concerns and challenges.

Bishop John was born and raised in Kerala in South India later becoming ordained as a priest in the Diocese of Calcutta and eventually moving to the UK. He has been deeply involved with cross-cultural work being associated with different organisations working overseas or alongside diverse communities in the UK. He lectures widely on issues such as faith and social engagement. Come along for an insightful weekend.

Arrivals: from 3pm Friday - first meal is dinner at 7pm

Departures: 3pm Sunday

Costs: adults £90 (Basic Rate) £112 (Benefactors Rate). Day visitors are welocme at a cost of £10 including lunch or £18 including lunch and evening meal, please indicate non-residential on the booking form.
