We have just had our yurts re-canvased and they look amazing
The photos show yurt Cedd before and after- it looks transformed. Many thanks to the two David's from World tents, who managed to supervise and work hard to get these done in record time despite a hold up with the new canvases being delayed at Heathrow. A huge thank you to Trevor, Jan, Pete and Paul, who also worked extremely hard to get these done. They started on Wednesday and all five yurts were occupied by a group on Friday afternoon.
Thank you to all who made a donation towards the cost, you donations are much appreciated. It's still not too late to give a donation if you would like to. The cost of the refit was £25,000, we were able to get a grant from the Rural Prosperity fund to cover £12,000 and have raised around £5,000 from donations. This leaves us with a shortfall of £8,000. At the moment we will have to cover this cost from our limited reserves so any additional contribution is much appreciated.
