The D4 bus, which connects the Othona community with Southminster train station, is being withdrawn at the end of July (28th July) and replaced by the D45 service. Sadly this service is much more limited and does not operate on a Saturday, as shown in the timetable below. At the moment the bus is not scheduled to come to Othona itself but will stop in Bradwell village. We realise that this will cause problems for those coming by bus and are looking for solutions to help this. At present for those able to travel on the D45 we will arrange to collect people from the village and drop off, if you are travelling here on a Saturday and need to get from the station there is a local taxi firm (Kitty cars- 07710295955), but we realise that this is not an option for everyone so please contact us and we will try to sort out alternative travel.
