How to Book
Once you have explored our Programme, just send us an online booking form for the Event you wish to attend.
You may do this Online or by Post.
*Please note, on the basis of a phone call or email query we may pencil you in to reserve a space (for up to a week). But we can only confirm your booking when we receive the Booking Form and payment.

- On the event page create or log into your Othona account. If you have already got an account your details will automatically be filled on the booking screen. (You can delete your account at anytime.)
- Select the Register Now box on right or bottom of page
- The next page shows details of the event that you are registering for. Please select the number of participants check your email address, and select the fee you will be paying ( A new page with the booking form will open. Event Title, Start Date and Price Options at the top.
- If you are booking for other people as well as yourself, select the correct number. Include yourself! (You will be able to give their details after you fill in YOUR details – just click Continue at the bottom of the page.)
- Fill in your contact details and event specific information. (If your existing details are wrong, you can update them.)
- Each additional person will have their own page. Click Continue at the bottom of each page. (Please do NOT Skip Participant :-D)
- On the last additional person’s page click Continue. A Confirm Your Details screen will appear. (If you are booking for yourself only, the Confirm screen will appear after YOUR page.) If you need to change any details, just click Go Back and update. Then click Continue to return to Confirm screen.
- On the Confirm screen click Continue! A Thank You screen will appear.
- You will receive an automated Registration Confirmation email with your booking details. We receive your Booking Form at the same time.
- We will then check availability on the event and and send you an invoice as soon as possible to confirm your booking.
Download the form below. Print it and fill in the sections.
Post it to us at the address below.

How to Pay
For each event booked we require a standard non-refundable, non- transferable deposit of £50 per person within 2 weeks of booking to secure your place. The balance of payment in full will be due no later than one month before the event.

However we also accept payments by other methods. No problem!

The PayPal method is the best for non UK visitors as they sort out the currency converstion for us.
Whichever method you use please use the Invoice Number as the reference.

Pricing Policy
The fee charges for our own Community events detailed in our programme are shown below, if you wish to book the Centre for a group then please see our Group rates- Group Rates 2026
Each event in our programme does have the basic costs, but the complete set of rates for 24 hours stay are:
- Adults (Standard) – £58
- Adult Camping (Standard) – £44
- Adults (Benefactor) – £72
- Adult Camping (Benefactor) – £58
- Students – £44*
- Children 0 – 2 years old – free
- Children 3 – 10 years old – £10
- Children 11 – 18 years old – £25
- On some events the youngest child comes free if you bring two or more children (Please see the event details)
Camping rates include use of all facilities and all food and refreshments.
* New Student rate will require proof either by showing a valid Student Card or letter from your place of Education.
If you can please bring your own towel, bed sheet, duvet cover and pillow cases as this saves on washing our own linen which saves on our limited energy. If you are unable do this then you can hire these from us for £10 per set per stay.
Othona is a charity and our standard adult rate reflects the real cost of your stay. We try to ensure that people are not excluded due to the cost of events, so bursaries may be available if required. Applications for bursaries and/or “concession rates”, can be made to the centre manager on an event by event basis. These will be treated with confidence and consideration..
If you are able to afford the Benefactor rate please consider paying as it helps to support the work of Othona and enables us to provide bursaries to those who otherwise struggle to afford to come. If you are a UK Tax Payer, please advise on the form if you are happy for us to claim Gift Aid. If you say yes, we then get a further 25% aid from the Government.

If you have to cancel we will refund a varying proportion of your payment.
- More than 4 weeks ahead of the event start date: all but the deposit
- Less than 4 weeks, more than 1 week ahead: 50%
- Less than 1 week ahead: 10%
- On or after the start date: nil
N.B. the cancellation date is not when you decide, but the day when we hear about it!
If you have agreed to split a booking with another party for one of our events and either party cancel, please be aware that the terms of our cancellation policy will apply to the party cancelling.
Nobody wants cancellations, but they do happen. We don’t like to see you heavily out of pocket either. So we suggest you consider taking out insurance (unless you already have cover, e.g. an annual holiday package). This could guard against you losing money if you have to cancel.

By making a booking you will be agreeing to all these terms.
One of the delights of Othona is its relatively wild outdoor environment. We want to keep this open to all and safe for all. Please read this carefully as it constitutes part of your terms and conditions for booking.
By booking to stay at the Othona Community at Bradwell-on-Sea CM0 7PN I am agreeing to all of the following:
Any or all of the members of my family or party listed on the booking form may want to play and engage in other recreational activities in the grounds of the Othona Community.
I understand that:
- The grounds include varied terrain on which care is needed to avoid accidental injury. They are largely undomesticated for the sake of wildlife and bio-diversity.
- There may be plants growing wild which are poisonous if eaten.
- As in any wild environment, common sense is needed to enjoy the surroundings and avoid danger.
- The possibility of injury to myself and others will always exist.
- The beach environs can be a dangerous place, especially when the tide is receding.
I confirm that:
- I am aware and accept that there are potential risks to myself and others and I will not deliberately endanger myself or others.
- I acknowledge and accept the responsibility for the supervision of any child of mine who plays in the grounds.
- I will comply – and ensure any child of mine complies – with the Othona Community guidelines as to use of play equipment.
- I will only allow my child(ren) to use the play equipment when I have satisfied myself that it is safe for them to do so.
- I will ensure that my child(ren) are safe when they are on the beach.
I hereby release, remise and forever discharge from any claims and liabilities whatsoever without limitation the Othona Community, its employees and volunteer helpers and any other person playing in the grounds who might injure me or my child(ren) howsoever arising, and I make this release on behalf of myself, my heirs, executors and administrators.
