A quiet reflective day with Rev.d Brigid Main
Wednesday 23rd July 2025
Space is available on this event
A day walking in the footsteps of St Cedd who brought the Good News to the East Saxons in the 7th century. Worship and reflections in the chapel, a place not of pilgrimage but a place where people have been formed and sent to share the news of God’s salvation. Our Celtic roots invite you to come apart and rest awhile in God’s sanctuary and return
refreshed and renewed.
Brigid retired as Chaplain to the Chapel of St Peter-on-the-Wall, Bradwell-on-Sea in 2019. She trained as a Speech and Language Therapist and still has an interest in encouraging vocal skills. For 10 years she was Associate Priest at Pleshey whilst her husband Laurie was House Manager at The Retreat House and during that time she set up the Pastoral Assistants training in the Diocese.
She loves leading retreats and Quiet Days and during lockdown discovered the joy of an online ministry..
